The details that matter

Booking in plain terms

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Driver basics

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.
