CarmaCars is a rental company in Toronto. For Atlixtac, our help starts there. For this kind of rental: A car while yours is off the road, rented by the day or the week. After a collision, your insurer may pay when your adjuster approves the rental, and we can bill them directly. Prices are before 13% HST, and your offer shows the total before you pay.

Where we are

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Atlixtac. With Atlixtac about 3,408 km from Toronto, it is outside the 80 km we cover.

Flying to Atlixtac from Toronto? We can meet you at Toronto Pearson with a car when you land back. A rental can leave Ontario only with our written consent, agreed before you go. Send a request about Atlixtac, and we reply with a clear yes or no. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

The details that matter

When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly, and we deliver the car to you. Your car is off the road; you are not. We bring a car to you and collect it when yours is back. Requests are read in order and answered by a person. You rent the car shown, with its own photos and price.

Who rents this way

People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice. People with family in town who need a second car for a while.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Licence, age and card

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

Ready to ask?
