A car for Covington

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. This page explains what that means if you need a rental car in Covington. What this means: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. The cars below show live prices before tax.

Before you plan around us

CarmaCars is based in Toronto and has no location in Covington. Covington lies about 1,758 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

Our cars stay around Toronto, so for Covington we can only help with the Toronto part of your travel. Because Covington is outside Ontario, the trip needs our written consent first. If you want to check something for Covington, send a request; a person replies honestly. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.

Why a rental from us

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Rates are set per car, so you can choose by budget. You can rent again later with the same account and details.

Who it is for

Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then. Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own.

What happens when you ask for a car

A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Checking your details

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
