A rental car in Davidson

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. This page explains what that means if you need a rental car in Davidson. Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. A person at CarmaCars reads each request and replies with an offer.

Why people choose us

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Questions are answered by people who know the cars. Each car has its own page with photos of that car, not a stock image of a category.

Who rents from us

Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own. People with family in town who need a second car for a while.

What we ask of drivers

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

What to expect when you book

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.
