What to expect

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Requests are read in order and answered by a person. Every booking has a signed agreement in your account.

Who rents from us

Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while. Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then.

Request, offer, keys

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

What to have ready

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.
