This page is for Deetz, but CarmaCars rents from Toronto. Here is the plain answer. One thing to know: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Rates on this page start at $50 a day.

What makes this simple

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Rates are set per car, so you can choose by budget. The offer is in writing, so you can check it before you agree.

Who it is for

Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one. Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days.

Getting around Deetz

The pages for Hammond Ranch, Abrams Lake Mobile Estates and Upton cover the areas next door.

Dunsmuir Municipal Airport-Mott Airport (MHS) is the closest airport, about 14 km from Deetz.

What to bring

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

What to expect when you book

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.
