Toronto based

Everything CarmaCars does starts from Toronto, and we have no presence in Dezera. Dezera lies about 1,550 km from our location in Toronto, well beyond our 250 km delivery area.

Most trips to Dezera start with a flight; if yours starts in Toronto, we can cover the car at this end. Because Dezera is outside Ontario, the trip needs our written consent first. For anything about Dezera, a request reaches a person who answers honestly. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.

What makes this simple

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. One small team handles your request from start to finish. The same team handles your request, your handover and your questions.

Who this suits

People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

How a booking comes together

You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

What we ask of drivers

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.
