Car Rental in Dorena

Car Rental in Dorena: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. What this means: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Our team reads every request; there is no automatic booking.

Honest about Dorena

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Dorena is outside the area we serve. With Dorena about 1,159 km from Toronto, it is outside the 250 km we cover.

For Dorena itself, look for a local rental company; for the Toronto end of the trip, we can help. Because Dorena is outside Ontario, the trip needs our written consent first. Still have a question about Dorena? Ask in a request, and we answer plainly. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.

Why people choose us

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. You rent the car shown, with its own photos and price. We answer questions before you book, not only after.

Common reasons to rent

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week.

How to book

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

Rules for renters

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.
