Your car in Doris

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. This page explains what that means if you need a rental car in Doris. How it works: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Each car page shows what is included, what is extra and the deposit.

What CarmaCars covers

CarmaCars has no branch in Doris. We rent from one location in Toronto. The distance is about 2,799 km in a straight line, more than our delivery area of 250 km.

Flying to Doris from Toronto? We can meet you at Toronto Pearson with a car when you land back. Because Doris is outside Ontario, the trip needs our written consent first. If you still want to ask about Doris, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.

Why people choose us

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. The same team handles your request, your handover and your questions. Every booking has a signed agreement in your account.

Typical renters

Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then. Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase.

Booking, step by step

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

Requirements

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
