Who rents this way

Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one. Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days.

What to expect

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. The request is free, so you can ask without committing. You do not need to visit a branch: everything starts online.

Who qualifies

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

From your dates to the handover

To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

Your move

Send a request with your dates, and we will come back with an offer.
