Car Rental in Dunchurch

A car for Dunchurch

In Dunchurch, CarmaCars delivers rental cars to homes, condos, hotels and offices. Here is the short version: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. A person at CarmaCars reads each request and replies with an offer.

Why this way of renting

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. We answer questions before you book, not only after. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup.

Where we hand over the car

Delivery reaches Dunchurch: the straight-line distance from our location in Toronto is about 215 km. The delivery fee depends on the car and the distance; you see it in the offer.

Prefer to collect it? Pickup at our Toronto location is free. Either way, we hand the car over in person, check your licence and card, and walk around it with you. Airport handovers are possible at Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, so the car can be waiting when you land.

Who this suits

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy.

Air travellers use Parry Sound Area Municipal Airport (YPD), about 44 km from Dunchurch. In winter, ask for winter tires: they are an add-on on the cars that offer them.

Ideas for the car

For the Georgian Bay shore and the ski hills, Collingwood is about 150 km away by road. Another drive: Sandbanks Provincial Park, about 230 km, for dunes and beaches in Prince Edward County. The kilometre allowance adds up over the days you book, so a long trip can fit. Crossing into the United States needs our written consent first.

The booking steps

To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

Who can rent

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.
