Who rents this way

Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own. Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase.

The steps

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

What you need to rent

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
