Car Rental in Durham, MS

About renting in Durham

CarmaCars is a rental company in Toronto. For Durham, our help starts there. In short: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. You see the full price in the offer before you decide.

Where we are

Straight answer: there is no CarmaCars location in Durham. We rent from Toronto. At roughly 1,443 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, Durham is outside our delivery area.

Visiting Toronto from Durham? We can meet you with a car when you arrive. Because Durham is outside Ontario, the trip needs our written consent first. If you need a car in Durham itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

Who rents this way

Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then. Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days.

Why CarmaCars

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. You can rent again later with the same account and details. Questions are answered by people who know the cars.

Driver requirements

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

Requesting a car

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
