The details that matter

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. One small team handles your request from start to finish. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking.

Typical renters

Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then. Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week.

Driver requirements

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

Booking in plain terms

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
