Car Rental in Edgewater, DE

Getting a car in Edgewater

Searching for car rental in Edgewater? Here is the honest picture from CarmaCars, a Toronto rental company. One thing to know: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. You can compare rates car by car before you ask for anything.

Toronto based

There is no CarmaCars location in Edgewater; everything we do starts in Toronto. We do not deliver as far as Edgewater, about 652 km from our location in Toronto.

A car from us can make the drive to Edgewater; plan the kilometres against the allowance on the car's page. Taking a car out of Ontario needs our written consent before the trip, so ask in your request. Tell us what you are planning in Edgewater, and we will say what we can and cannot do. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.

What makes this simple

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking. Prices are shown car by car, and the offer lists every charge.

Who it is for

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

The nearest airport is Sussex County Airport (GED), about 15 km away.

The booking steps

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

Checking your details

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
