Who this suits

People with family in town who need a second car for a while. Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase.

Why this works

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. There is no app to install: everything works in your browser. You can rent again later with the same account and details.

The rules, briefly

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

How a booking comes together

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
