What to expect

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. A person reads each request and answers it, by email and in your account. Requests are read in order and answered by a person.

Renting: the basics

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

The booking steps

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
