Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Each car page shows what is included, what is extra and the deposit.

The short answer for El Rincón

El Rincón is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. El Rincón is about 3,345 km from central Toronto in a straight line, beyond the 80 km we deliver to.

Back from El Rincón and landing at Toronto Pearson? We can meet you there with a car. Because El Rincón is outside Ontario, the trip needs our written consent first. Tell us what you need in El Rincón, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

Reasons people rent from us

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. There is no app to install: everything works in your browser. You can rent again later with the same account and details.

Who it is for

Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

How renting with us works

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. Next comes our offer, with the confirmed car and every charge on one page. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

Rules for renters

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.
