Car Rental in Emerald, OH

Renting in Emerald

If you need a rental car in Emerald, read this first: CarmaCars works from Toronto. One thing to know: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. A person at CarmaCars reads each request and replies with an offer.

Before you plan around us

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Emerald is outside our area. At about 643 km from our location in Toronto, Emerald is past the 250 km our delivery covers.

For a drive from Toronto, a car from us works, with the kilometres priced on each car's page. A rental can leave Ontario only with our written consent, agreed before you go. If you still want to ask about Emerald, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

What makes this simple

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Rent by the day, by the week, or up to 365 days at a time. You can rent again later with the same account and details.

Good fits

Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one. Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase.

Requirements

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

The booking steps

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

Next step

Choose a car above and send a request. A person replies with an offer, and you pay only if you approve it.
