What to expect

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. If plans change before you approve the offer, nothing is charged. Your bookings, receipts and agreements are in your account.

The rules, briefly

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

What happens when you ask for a car

A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.
