If you still want to ask about Esmond, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

What makes this simple

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup. Requests are read in order and answered by a person.

What to expect when you book

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

The rules, briefly

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
