The useful parts

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Questions are answered by people who know the cars. Every booking has a signed agreement in your account.

Licence, age and card

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

Booking with CarmaCars

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.
