Who rents this way

Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one. People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy.

Why this works

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. If the car you want is taken, we suggest the closest match we have. Every booking has a signed agreement in your account.

Before you rent

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

The steps

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Ready when you are

Not sure which car? Describe the trip in your request and we will suggest one.
