Rules for renters

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

The booking steps

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
