Why people choose us

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Every booking has a signed agreement in your account. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup.

Common reasons to rent

Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

Requirements

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

Requesting a car

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

Ready when you are

Send your dates and we will reply with a car and a price.
