People with family in town who need a second car for a while. Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase.

What is different here

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. One small team handles your request from start to finish. You can rent again later with the same account and details.

Licence, age and card

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

What to expect when you book

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
