Why this way of renting

What happens when you ask for a car

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

Renting: the basics

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
