Typical renters

Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while. Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own.

Why this way of renting

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. You can rent again later with the same account and details. Each car has its own page with photos of that car, not a stock image of a category.

What happens when you ask for a car

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

The rules, briefly

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
