Fox: renting made simple

Car Rental in Fox: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Each car lists the kilometres included each day.

The short answer for Fox

If your trip starts in the Toronto area, we can have a car ready for the drive. Driving out of Ontario is possible only with our written consent, given before the trip. Write to us with the dates and the place, and we will give you a straight answer. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

What to expect

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. The request is free, so you can ask without committing. A person reads each request and answers it, by email and in your account.

Who rents from us

Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one. Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days.

The rules, briefly

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

From your dates to the handover

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

Your move

A request takes a few minutes and puts a real offer in front of you.
