Toronto based

There is no CarmaCars location in Funk; everything we do starts in Toronto. By straight line Funk is about 408 km from our location in Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 250 km delivery area.

For a drive from Toronto, a car from us works, with the kilometres priced on each car's page. Because Funk is outside Ontario, the trip needs our written consent first. For anything about Funk, a request reaches a person who answers honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

What you get

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. A request is free and commits you to nothing. We answer questions before you book, not only after.

When it makes sense

Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own. Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days.

Rules for renters

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

How booking works

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Next step

Choose a car above and send a request. A person replies with an offer, and you pay only if you approve it.
