Car Rental in Gary

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. This page explains what that means if you need a rental car in Gary. Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. The cars below show live prices before tax.

Where we are

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Gary is outside the area we serve. About 1,067 km separate our location in Toronto and Gary, far past our 250 km delivery area.

If your trip to Gary starts in Toronto, a car from us can cover the Toronto part of it. Because Gary is outside Ontario, the trip needs our written consent first. Send a request with what you need in Gary, and we reply plainly, even when the answer is no. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

Who it is for

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own.

Reasons people rent from us

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. If the car you want is taken, we suggest the closest match we have. A person reads each request and answers it, by email and in your account.

Booking, step by step

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

Who can rent

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
