When it makes sense

People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

Why this way of renting

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Your offer lists every charge, so the price you approve is the price you pay. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup.

What you need to rent

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

How booking works

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.
