Car Rental in Gilroy, CA

About renting in Gilroy

Searching for car rental in Gilroy? Here is the honest picture from CarmaCars, a Toronto rental company. Here is the short version: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. A person confirms every booking before anything is charged.

Where we are

Our only location is in Toronto; Gilroy is outside the area we serve. At about 3,620 km from our location in Toronto, Gilroy is past the 250 km our delivery covers.

If your trip to Gilroy starts in Toronto, a car from us can cover the Toronto part of it. Crossing the border with a rental from us needs our written consent before the trip. Send a request with what you need in Gilroy, and we reply plainly, even when the answer is no. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

Who rents this way

People with family in town who need a second car for a while. Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then.

Gilroy and nearby

Lonoke, Old Gilroy and Carnadero are the closest places to Gilroy on our list. Nearby spots include South Valley Plaza Shopping Center and Hecker Pass Shopping Center.

For flights, Hollister Municipal Airport (HLI) is about 20 km away.

Why CarmaCars

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Requests are read in order and answered by a person. If plans change before you approve the offer, nothing is charged.

How renting with us works

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

What you need to rent

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.
