Trips from Halstead Beach

Ottawa makes a good outing: about 450 km by road, for a long weekend in the capital. Or head to Peterborough, roughly 140 km by road, for the Kawartha Lakes. The kilometre allowance adds up over the days you book, so a long trip can fit. Any drive out of Ontario needs our written consent, arranged in advance.

Getting a car to Halstead Beach

Delivery to Halstead Beach works: it is about 88 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line. Delivery is quoted in your offer, never added later.

Skip the delivery fee by picking the car up from us. The handover is quick: licence, card, walkaround, keys. Airport handovers at Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport are arranged for the time we confirm.

Worth knowing

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. We hand over every car in person and walk around it with you. The request is free, so you can ask without committing.

The area around Halstead Beach

Close by are Taits Beach, Bewdley and Gores Landing, each with its own page.

Peterborough Airport is the nearest airport, roughly 16 km away. In winter, ask for winter tires: they are an add-on on the cars that offer them.

What we check

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

Requesting a car

You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. You pay when you approve, and only then.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Over to you

Choose a car above and send a request. A person replies with an offer, and you pay only if you approve it.
