Who this suits

Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own. Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then.

The useful parts

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Your bookings, receipts and agreements are in your account. Rates are before 13% HST, and the offer shows the tax too.

Before pickup

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

How to book

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.
