Renting with CarmaCars in Hamlin

Car Rental in Hamlin: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. Good to know: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. The deposit is never taken at booking, only shortly before pickup.

The short answer for Hamlin

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Hamlin is outside the area we serve. We cover about 250 km around Toronto; at about 801 km, Hamlin is outside that.

A car from us can make the drive to Hamlin; plan the kilometres against the allowance on the car's page. Tell us in your request that you plan to drive outside Ontario; it needs our written consent. For anything about Hamlin, a request reaches a person who answers honestly. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

Why this works

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking. Each car has its own page with photos of that car, not a stock image of a category.

When it makes sense

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week.

Know the area

Neighbouring areas include Sun, Dorado and Morefield.

The nearest airport is Lonesome Pine Airport (LNP), about 23 km away.

Getting the car booked

All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Driver basics

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

Ready when you are

Send your dates and we will reply with a car and a price.
