Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while. People with family in town who need a second car for a while.

The useful parts

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Questions are answered by people who know the cars. Your bookings, receipts and agreements are in your account.

Booking, step by step

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Driver basics

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

Let us know
