Renting with CarmaCars in Hamner

If you need a rental car in Hamner, read this first: CarmaCars works from Toronto. What this means: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. The deposit is never taken at booking, only shortly before pickup.

A Toronto company

We are based in Toronto; Hamner is not somewhere we have a location. At roughly 997 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, Hamner is outside our delivery area.

If you are flying from Toronto to Hamner, we can help with a car on the Toronto side of the trip. Crossing the border with a rental from us needs our written consent before the trip. Tell us what you need in Hamner, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.

When it makes sense

Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then. Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase.

Why rent with us in Hamner

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. You can rent again later with the same account and details. If the car you want is taken, we suggest the closest match we have.

Before you rent

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

Your booking, in three steps

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Next step

Pick a car, send a request, and decide once you see the offer.
