When it makes sense

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

Why this works

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. If the car you want is taken, we suggest the closest match we have. If plans change before you approve the offer, nothing is charged.

Before pickup

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

How to book

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
