Car Rental in Hershey, CA

Getting a car in Hershey

Searching for car rental in Hershey? Here is the honest picture from CarmaCars, a Toronto rental company. The key point: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Requests are answered by a person, by email and in your account.

CarmaCars and Hershey

Everything CarmaCars does starts from Toronto, and we have no presence in Hershey. We do not deliver as far as Hershey, about 3,559 km from central Toronto.

For Hershey itself, look for a local rental company; for the Toronto end of the trip, we can help. Taking a car out of Ontario needs our written consent before the trip, so ask in your request. Send a request about Hershey, and we reply with a clear yes or no. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

What to expect

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. You choose the exact car, not a category with "or similar". Your offer lists every charge, so the price you approve is the price you pay.

About Hershey

Dunnigan Mobile Home Park, Dunnigan and Tyndall Landing are the neighbouring places on our list.

Yuba County Airport (MYV) is the closest airport, about 42 km from Hershey.

When it makes sense

People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice. People with family in town who need a second car for a while.

From request to keys

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Rules for renters

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

Your move

Questions, dates or both: put them in a request and we answer.
