Common reasons to rent

Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own. Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days.

Why a rental from us

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup. Requests are read in order and answered by a person.

From your dates to the handover

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Driver requirements

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
