Renting: the basics

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

What happens when you ask for a car

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
