Car Rental in Highsmiths, NC

A rental car in Highsmiths

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. This page explains what that means if you need a rental car in Highsmiths. Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. The cars below are our own listings, each with photos of that car.

What we cover

CarmaCars is not in Highsmiths. Our one location is in Toronto. We deliver within about 250 km of Toronto. Highsmiths, about 985 km away, is beyond that.

If you are flying from Toronto to Highsmiths, we can help with a car on the Toronto side of the trip. A border crossing needs our written consent in advance; ask in your request. Need something in Highsmiths? Send a request and a person replies with an honest answer. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.

What you get

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. A person reads each request and answers it, by email and in your account. We answer questions before you book, not only after.

Good fits

Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while. Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then.

Getting the car booked

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

Before pickup

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.
