Reach and distance

Plainly: we do not have a location in Highvale. CarmaCars is a Toronto company. Highvale lies about 2,771 km from our location in Toronto, well beyond our 250 km delivery area.

Heading to Highvale by plane? A car from us can get you to Toronto Pearson, or meet you there when you return. Driving out of Ontario is possible only with our written consent, given before the trip. If you need a car in Highvale itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

Who it is for

Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while. People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy.

Reasons people rent from us

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Rates are before 13% HST, and the offer shows the tax too. Every booking has a signed agreement in your account.

Getting the car booked

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Renting: the basics

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

Ready when you are
