What to expect

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Rent by the day, by the week, or up to 365 days at a time. A request is free and commits you to nothing.

Who it is for

People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy. Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase.

Rules for renters

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

What happens when you ask for a car

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.
