Requesting a car

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. You pay only once you approve the offer.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

What you need to rent

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.
