Why CarmaCars

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Rates are before 13% HST, and the offer shows the tax too. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup.

How booking works

You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

Renting: the basics

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
