Renting with CarmaCars in Jayess

CarmaCars is a rental company in Toronto. For Jayess, our help starts there. How it works: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. A person at CarmaCars reads each request and replies with an offer.

What CarmaCars covers

You will not find a CarmaCars location in Jayess; we work from Toronto. Jayess is about 1,678 km from our location, and our delivery area is about 250 km.

For Jayess itself, look for a local rental company; for the Toronto end of the trip, we can help. A trip from Ontario to Jayess needs our written consent before you leave. Ask us about Jayess in a request; a person answers honestly. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

Who this suits

People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy. Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then.

What to expect

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. There is no app to install: everything works in your browser. You do not need to visit a branch: everything starts online.

Getting around Jayess

George R Carr Memorial Air Field is the nearest airport, roughly 69 km away.

Licence, age and card

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

Your booking, in three steps

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

Over to you

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
