Why CarmaCars

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. We answer questions before you book, not only after. Rates are before 13% HST, and the offer shows the tax too.

Who rents this way

People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice. Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own.

Licence, age and card

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

Booking made plain

A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.
