The useful parts

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. You choose the exact car, not a category with "or similar". You can rent again later with the same account and details.

Typical renters

People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy. Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then.

Request, offer, keys

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

Driver requirements

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

One more step

The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
